John reached out to us and sent a picture of his beautiful 1955 Buick Special and I needed to know more about it!

John’s show winning classic 1955 Buick Special has been fully restored to a mild hotrod/custom with some period correct touches here and there. This 1955 Buick has a 3 stage purple candy paint jog. with a healthy number of clear coats as well. Under the hood he used bed liner for a clean black look. All of the interior has been redon in white leather with purple piping.  John had all of the chrome re-done to keep that clean and classic look.  Power comes form the original Nailhead V8 that has been rebuilt. The original Offenbauser tri-power carbs are still on the car which ads to the stock yet custom feel.  Under the hood the stock points have been replaced with an electronic ignition. Just about everything on this car has been replaced/redone/ or customized. The brakes and lines are new and so are the brakes.  I think the coolest thing about this car is that John’s car has 48,000 original miles. John’s car has some cool custom pin stripping on it and it looks just amazing. Thanks for sharing John!!

My fondest memories from when I was younger was attending car shows with my dad. He had a really nice 1956 Chevy Belair. We went shooting together and he taught me always to be safe with a car and a gun. Currently the car I want the most is a Challenger Hellcat or a 2nd gen CTS-V. I now daily drive a Challenger Hellcat:)
